Dogs are enthusiastic greeters
Tails waging a mile a minute
So happy to see you
Jumping up
Whining for attention
Cats appear indifferent
But when mine comes quietly
To sleep by me at night
He purrs with all his might
When I reach out to touch him
“I love attention too.”
He seems to say
“I just don’t make a show of it.”
