A refugee story told from a young person’s perspective

Nancy writes a compelling story in a style which is completely appropriate to the central character, at the same time reflecting Nancy’s own tone of voice. Her work has a natural flow and she shows great insight and sensitivity to her characters and the situations they find themselves in. Nancy’s writing comes across as being straight from the heart and I think that any young person reading this book will find it both moving and inspirational.
