A War Against Truth

Try to remain truthful. The power of truth never declines. Force and violence may be effective in the short term, but in the long run it’s truth that prevails.

Dalai Lama

Lying during a war is the most intolerable crime

When innocent civilians are killed

The aggressor country says, “You committed these crimes yourself!”

When a mother asks her government, “Where is my son?”

It replies, “We don’t know.”

His body lies unclaimed in the street, his leg bitten off by a hungry dog.

Laws are passed to make criticizing war a crime.

It is a “special operation,” like a surprise birthday party.

Reporters are murdered.

Independent media shut down.

Critical thinking shut down.

Street protests shut down.

Protestors locked up when displaying a sign saying nothing at all.

The crimes against humanity are so great…

But the most important war fought by the aggressor is against truth

But that war can never be won

Truth always wins

In the end
