Dedicated to a dear Irish friend whose two brothers died with 3 months of each other. A month later his sister died and then his mother died too. He said it was the most difficult time he has ever experienced in his life.
Dear God, the prime mover of our universe
Help me to accept the passing of my loved one.
Grant me serenity to face each day with courage and acceptance of life as it is—a transitory place where those we love deeply may be taken from us at any time for any reason or no reason.
Help me to live life to the fullest, moving forward with love and gratitude, in spite of the challenges that we must confront each day.
